f you pay tax you may join the Gift Aid Scheme which allows the parish to reclaim the Tax from the Inland Revenue on the money you have already contributed to the parish.  All envelopes in your box can attract gift aid.  Anyone who pays Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax can join by simply signing a Gift Aid Declaration Form and using a set of envelopes. 

The Parish cannot reclaim any tax if there is not a written record of your contributions.  It does not cost anything extra.  If you contribute £2 a week this amounts to £100 approximately a year.  With Gift Aid the Inland Revenue adds £28 to your contribution. You may cancel your Gift Aid declaration at any time.
