r John Murray is a native of the Parish of Ballyclare & Ballygowan.

He began studies for the priesthood at St Malachy's College while attending the Queens University of Belfast.  His Undergraduate Theological studies were at the Gregorian University, Rome followed by Postgraduate studies in Liturgy at the San Anselmo Liturgy Institute also in Rome.

Fr John was ordained on the 4^th of July 1976 and was appointed to the Parish of Derriaghy (which has since been split into four parishes: St Anne's, Our Lady Queen of Peace, Derriaghy and St Luke's).  He spent the next nine years there as a curate.   In 1985 he was appointed Spiritual Director to the Diocesan Seminary and Vocations Director for the diocese of Down and Connor.   In 1998 he was appointed Parish Priest to the Parish of St. Luke (Twinbrook), whilst still retaining the office of Diocesan Vocations Director.  Fr. Murray also writes a monthly article for the 'Sacred Heart Messenger', a Jesuit publication.

r Darach Mac Giolla Catháin is a native of St Michael the Archangel Parish, Belfast.  He received his primary education at Bunscoil Phobal Feirste and St Oliver Plunkett Primary School and secondary education at La Salle Boys', Belfast.

He began his undergraduate studies in Accountancy at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown before studying Philosophy at the Queen's University of Belfast and commencing formation for the priesthood at St Joseph's Junior Seminary.  His formation continued in the Pontifical Irish College, Rome where his Undergraduate Theological studies were at the Gregorian University and Postgraduate studies in Spirituality were at the Angelicum University.

Following a Deaconate year in the parish of Upper Mourne (Kilkeel), Fr Darach was ordained to the Presbyterate of Down & Connor in the Church of St Michael the Archangel on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, 13^th of May 2000, the first priest ordained for the diocese in the Third Millennium.

Following a summer appointment to Nazareth House and the Belfast Hospitals, his first appointment was as a curate to St Paul's Parish on the Falls Road and as a chaplain to the Deaf community. 

He was appointed to the Parish of St Luke as a curate on the 9th of August 2002.  He continues to minister to the Deaf Community and is now a Chaplain to the Irish Medium Schools in the Diocese.
