ara house is a registered charity open to all families to the local area.  We have facilities for children aged 0-4 years which is managed by a dedicated team of child care workers.

To organise courses on Education and Practical skills.

To liaise with statutory bodies to meet community needs.

We have many activities including informal play sessions, craft, reading and also offer a light snack.  We also have a safe outdoor play area.  We run a variety of courses which changes annually in response to needs, including the Breast-feeding support group runs every Tuesday.  Our Committee members are from various user groups and representatives from the community.  If you have any suggestions please contact the centre and we will pass this on. 

Our Aim is to provide local people with educational and recreational activities in a friendly environment.  We aim to help families develop skills, meet new people and grow within the community.  Through a varied programme, we seek to offer parents support by responding to their needs and concerns through which we aim to boost confidence.  Various groups use Cara House on different evenings.
